The Ghanaian fintech firm PayBox has introduced an integrated financial application, the Buddy app, to grant inclusive financial freedom to young Africans.
PayBox spearheads innovation in financial transfers and cross-border payments for SMEs in over 23 African nations.
The new mobile application offers cutting-edge financial solutions by utilizing blockchain technology and artificial intelligence (AI). The program improves investment yields, lowers transaction costs, streamlines cross-border payments, and fights inflation. Buddy AI (Beta) allows consumers to have meaningful discussions with their money to obtain insightful advice.
The Ghanaian fintech startup describes the Buddy app as the “PayPal or Monzo of Africa, saying; “Take a second to close your eyes – envision Buddy as PayPal or Monzo for Africa, with blockchain capabilities linked to a mobile number. To this end, Buddy functions as both a mobile app and a decentralised app, offering a user-friendly interface and giving you the control to manage personal and business finances.”
With the mobile application, customers can get real-time transaction updates, and transaction history at a glance, and generate reports in a tap or two to make valuable decisions in managing their finances or business. They will also get valuable advice to grow their business from Buddy Financial Coach and business credit support.
