MTN TurboNet is something to be excited about if you are like me who depends on the internet for almost everything from fun to work.

Ghana’s leading telecom giant, MTN, has introduced a new device to allow its customers to get the best of its 4G internet services with interesting data bundle options that are already giving me goosebumps.

What is MTN TurboNet?

MTN TurboNet is a plug-and-play super high-speed 4G internet router. It comes with a high-powered external antenna and data SIM that enables it to deliver fast internet in MTN 4G locations.

The external antenna that comes with the TurboNet is to enhance the internet connection so you and I can enjoy instant and reliable high-speed internet at all times within MTN’s 4G coverage.

This router provides instant high-speed internet for up to 32 users at the same time, however, one has to be within MTN’s 4G coverage to enjoy this service. Sorry, if this hurt your feeling if you are not within the 4G coverage area.

TurboNet is suitable for home or office use.

To Purchase a TurboNet device, please visit main MTN regional offices and selected branches in Greater Accra Region, Ashanti Region and Western region or call 100 for guidance.

Update: MTN Ghana is no longer selling TurboNet due to an overload on the spectrum. This is to allow the already existing customers using Turbonet to enjoy the service.

The only way to get a Turbonet now in Ghana is to buy from an existing owner at a price which can be twice if not triple how much MTN was selling it or your company applying for it.

How much is the MTN TurboNet device?

It is selling at a one-time device cost of GHS 800.

You can purchase bundles from a range of seven (7) data plans by using the shortcode *5057# or Mobile Money *170#.

1. Dial *5057# from your linked mobile number
2. Select buy bundle
3. Select option 5 to enter the amount you want to purchase
4. Enter any amount between Ghc 25 – Ghc 5,000
5. Confirm purchase
6. Select your preferred payment channel

How to check MTN Turbonet balance

You can check your MTN Turbonet balance anytime on your linked MTN number. Here are the steps to follow:

• Dial *5057# on your linked MTN Turbonet Number.
• Select option 3 to check the balance.
• Choose your account from the list.
• You will receive a message indicating your data bundle is available with your bonus and airtime.

All bundles bought via the MTN Turbonet from March 2020 will not expire.

Does one enjoy rollover on data bundles?

Yes, users can enjoy data Rollover: Now you can roll over your unused internet data to the next month’s subscription. All you have to do is ensure that you auto-renew your data subscription before it expires and your unused data is automatically moved to the next month.
