Electoral Commission begins online re-exhibition of provisional voters' register ahead of 2024 elections

The Electoral Commission (EC) has commenced an online re-exhibition of the provisional voters’ register today, Tuesday, October 15, 2024. This process will run through Saturday, October 19, 2024. The EC is urging all registered voters to verify their details by dialing *71151# at no cost.

This exercise is part of efforts to ensure the accuracy of the voters’ register ahead of the final compilation for the 2024 General Election.

In addition to the mobile verification option, voters can also access their registration information through the EC’s website at https://ec.gov.gh. By clicking the pop-up link in the bottom-right corner and entering their 10-digit Voter ID number, individuals can review their details.

Any discrepancies identified should be reported to the District Office where the voter is registered for necessary adjustments.

The EC emphasized that while the online verification tool will remain available after the exhibition period, requests for corrections must be submitted no later than October 19, 2024. Political parties are also encouraged to submit any discrepancies they find during the re-exhibition using the designated template provided by the EC.
