The MultiChoice Talent Factory is on as applications are invited for East Africa, West Africa and Southern Africa Academy class of 2025, giving you a chance to unleash your talent and step into the spotlight as one of the next generation of filmmakers.
What is the MultiChoice Talent Factory about?
The MultiChoice Talent Factory is a 12-month long industry readiness programme that affords the opportunity to learn from some of the leading players in TV and Film while acquiring valuable experience in directing, producing, cinematography, commissioning, direction and many more other skills.
In October 2018, the MultiChoice Talent Factory academies were inaugurated. Each year, the academies choose 60 gifted people from 13 different nations to take part in a 12-month academic and practical immersion program that combines theory and practical practice in audio production, cinematography, editing, and storytelling.
Applications for the 2025 edition are open from now until September 15, 2025.
What does one need to apply?
Any individual desiring to apply for the MultiChoice Talent Factory 2025, must present:
- A CV – not more than 2 pages
- A personal Motivation letter of not more than 200 -300 words (why should you be chosen)
- A copy of Identification
- A copy of High School certificate
- A copy of College/University qualification
